RIOT-S Monitoring System

The RIOT-S is a self contained, dual processor unit housed within a small stainless steel enclosure. It has the capability for both wired and wireless sensors. There are multiple monitoring options, making it extremely flexible and cost effective.

Battery Back Up

Internal batteries in the event of power loss
An alarm will sound 10 seconds after mains power has been disconnected and the internal back up battery will allow monitoring to continue for a set period of time.

WebREACT Link

The RIOT-S can be managed via WebREACT and WebREACT Lite sites, which are accessible via a PC or smartphone. The RIOT-S uploads your monitoring data to the WebREACT server via Ethernet cable or mobile GSM connection.
The RIOT-S software features a local alarm to inform you if connection is lost to the primary WebREACT site and back up site.

Thermal Printer (RS232 Port)

A small thermal printer can be connected to the RIOT-S unit via the RS232 port. The printer can be wall mounted or mounted onto a RIOT-S back box so no desk space is required. Timed data logs and configurations can be printed.
Thermal Printers are battery and mains powered and supplied with a 0.3amp UK plug.

Stand-Alone Use

The RIOT-S can be used as a standalone device. The colour OLED touch screen allows local viewing of your monitoring systems including current point status and alarm history. You can acknowledge alarms and update alarm settings. The data can be viewed as a graph for each point on the system, you can zoom into the graphs for a more detailed view and pinpoint specific times/values.
For alarm alerts, you could add a PSTN modem (phone line required), or connect to a relay to trigger another device.

Wireless or Wired?

The RIOT-S unit is compatible with a range of wired sensors and/or our own wireless temperatures sensors.

You may already have wired sensors but are looking to upgrade the monitoring base or perhaps you are looking for wireless sensors that are easy to have installed!

Site Survey Visit

In order to provide you with an accurate quotation, we offer free site survey visits to customers located within a 3 hour journey from our office in Berkshire.

For customers further out will we endeavor to visit you free of charge when we have planned work in your area.

Alternatively: We can use a detailed site plan to estimate your requirements and send a quote including options for any potential additional hardware costs that may be needed during the install.

OR a quote can be provided detailing the cost for a site survey visit at our earliest availability.
